He is a 800 hours certified yoga teacher titled with ‘Yoga Acharya’ from Sivananda Yoga Ashram, India. He doesn’t believe in styles of yoga, for him YOGA is one! Focusing on a true holistic approach to our whole system of body, mind and soul. He enjoys inspiring others to improve their state of wellness and to commit themselves to long term health and well-being.
As a freelance teacher, he leads Yoga / Movement classes, workshops and retreats in India, Sri Lanka and in Europe. Aditya loves to delve into yoga & movement as a way of life. His approach allows you to get in touch with your own body which you lost the connection in the modern busy and demanding life.
Humans are born to move & when we are physically active, it puts us in the state of not just the body but the mind to be the best version of ourselves. We thrive when we are active! We move our bodies to express our wants, needs, emotions, thoughts, and ideas. How you live and move creates a significant difference between biological age and chronological age.
The Movement Project's aim is to make people aware of what we are losing! Human life has become structured in a way that we are making it very easy to avoid even simple movements like running, stretching, jumping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and so much in the name of convenience which is the driving force behind our increasing sedentary lifestyle.
The Movement Project provides an enjoyable, inspiring and informative foundation to help individuals to boost health and productivity. The project emphasises on movement not exercise, with interactive sessions along with natural movement drills providing the freedom to explore our bodies in their most natural way and let go the idea of exercise.
The project highlights Embodied Yoga & Functional Movements, which we regard as essential for an active life from doing everyday tasks to enjoying our favourite hobbies. Getting back in touch with our own body through Sensory, Emotional and Cognitive regulation makes us aware what it feels like to have a body with freedom in movement and true engagement.
